Artist Abi Dionisio partners with CANVAS to give books to Bulacan schools

Artist Abi Dionisio, a Bulacan native, gives back to her hometown by donating her book with CANVAS, BABAE! 18 Fierce and Fearless Filipinas.

Copies of BABAE! were donated to four school libraries, namely St. Mary’s Academy Hagonoy, Paombong High School, St. Martin De Porres Catholic School Paombong, and Bulacan State University.

Divine, a student of Paombong High School, shared her excitement in reading their new books. “Ang ganda po ng libro, mas nadagdagan po ang mga kaalaman ko tungkol sa kasaysayan ng mga kababaihan sa Pilipinas, tiyak po na magagamit namin ito sa aming research sa History.  Creative din po ng mga illustration at may iba-iba po silang character.”
