Tarlac students learn about children’s rights

Gabaldon Elementary School held a book giving event for their celebration of National Children’s Month and National Reading Month. To tie these two events together, they distributed Karapat Dapat, our book on children’s rights, to 250 learners.
Through this event, the educators of Gabaldon hopes to help their kids enjoy and appreciate their childhood more by learning about their rights and reading books!
By bringing the books home, children get to share them with their family. “Salamat po sa libro! Babasahin ko po ito at ipapabasa ko rin po sa mga kapatid ko pati po kina Mama at Papa,” said Nicole, one of the students.
