A high school student in Antipolo enjoys her first time in the library

August 6, 2025 — Antipolo, Rizal

Antipolo National High School launched Project ALAB, a remedial reading class for grade 10 students. 46 students who were part of the class read a variety of CANVAS books for the first time.

To students like Julie, reading has become an experience she looks forward to.

“[As a] student, we need to read different books from this library, and this is my first time [visiting] here. [There’s] more happiness ‘cause I read books with my friends.”

Books were brought home by the remedial class students, and a collection of hardbound books was added to the school’s reading resources.
