A day to read and play in Jalandoni Memorial Elementary School

One way to inspire children to read more is to show them it’s a way to play! The members of English Majors Organization (EMO) of the West Visayas State University brought 280 copies of Ang Pusang Kartero, Where Are My Legs?, and Climate Change to the learners of Jalandoni Memorial Elementary School.
EMO Express: Book Burrow is the organization’s project aiming to provide children access to more reading materials. The more books they have access to, the easier it is to fall in love with reading.
The kids joined in on a day full of games and happily received their new books. Some kids finished their book in one sitting and jumped onto exchanging titles with their other friends.
