Three Schools in Bauan, Batangas Receive Books

Events like bookgiving are always best accompanied by good food and uplifting speeches. The Rotary Club of Bauan, Dok Franko’s Hub, the youth of Interact Club of Bauan, and the town’s artists collective known as Art’e Bauan all gathered to donate books to schools in their community.
The organizations coordinated with West Bauan Elementary School, As-is Integrated School, and Inicluban Elementary School to give CANVAS books to their students. During the event, the teachers delivered moving speeches as they accepted books for their students. Everyone also got to learn about CANVAS’ One Million Books for One Million Children campaign.
The sponsors, artists, teachers, and students at Bauan Batangas will undoubtedly benefit from this donation for years to come as they deepen their love of reading and continue to grow and learn.
