Outreach Philippines brings Karapat Dapat to Aliaga, Nueva Ecija

December 3, 2024 — Aliaga, Nueva Ecija

How does a school in Nueva Ecija celebrate National Children’s Month? Sta. Monica Elementary School, with the help of Outreach Philippines, Inc. (OPI), held Share a Book, Shape a Future Drive! Thanks to OPI, 186 copies of Karapat Dapat and a set of hardbound books for the library were given to the local day care and elementary school.

Mica*, one of the learners, was very eager about the content of the book on children’s rights. She said that apart from reading, she was excited to go through the activities! Books in school were mostly kept free from handwriting so more kids can use them, so it was truly special for her to have a book of her own that she can write on. Her favorite part in Karapat Dapat is the spread about children’s right to play.

We thank Outreach Philippines for being a constant partner in bringing books to kids all over Nueva Ecija!
