We reveal more things than we know simply by being online – our location, time we spend on gadgets, and things we “like.” This activity book introduces the concept of personal data to children ages 6 to 12 and teaches them how to protect themselves. It breaks down in child-friendly language how social media and online gaming platforms work when we sign up to them, how our information can be used, and how and why we should strengthen our privacy settings.
