I want to be President of the Philippines.
I want to be a basketball star.
I want fried chicken everyday for dinner.

Attached to the pages
of yesterday's paper,
folded and taped,
the dreams of the children
were set free.
The wind took them
to the boundless sky,
only to be held back
by pieces of string.
