Little by Little: A Fundraiser

Small Donations Can Lead to Big Change

From March 8-12, we are partipating in GlobalGiving’s Little by Little Campaign that uses the power of small donations to bring big change.

In these 5 days, all donations up to $50 will be matched at 50% when you give via our GlobalGiving project page! So your $10 donation, for example, will become $15 and will translate to 8 more books we can donate to children. 100% of all donations, including the matching grants, will go to the publication of the books that we will give away through our One Million Books for One Million Filipino Children Campaign.

We hope to raise at least $1,000 during this 5-day period, and any amount you can donate towards this goal will be greatly appreciated. Donations are tax-deductible in the US, England, and Wales.

You may also choose to become a monthly donor and GlobalGiving will match it 100% up to $200 through the end of 2021 or until funds run out. So for example, if you set up a new $25 monthly donation, GlobalGiving will make a one-time donation of another $25 to our project.

Online donations (credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and individually purchased GlobalGiving gift cards) and mobile donations through M-Changa will count towards your total raised during the Little by Little week.

Since 2011, CANVAS has been giving away books to children in underprivileged communities through its One Million Books for One Million Filipino Children Campaign. To date, we have given away nearly 400,000 books to children, and in many cases, these are the very first books they get to call their own. Last year (2020), despite quarantine restrictions, we were able to give away some 35,000 books, proving that while the pandemic makes book-giving challenging, it in no way makes it impossible!HELP us empower kids through art and stories!
