Ipapasyal Namin Si Lolo
By Genaro Gojo Cruz
Artworks by Arvi Fetalvero

When I was not yet going to school, Grandpa and I spent the time together at home. He taught me how to make all kinds of paper toys.

Paper boats. Paper planes. Paper balls. Paper hats. Paper birds. Paper grasshoppers. Even paper sacks.

Noong di pa ako nag-aaral, si Lolo ang aking kasáma sa bahay. Lahat ng laruang-papel, itinuturo niya sa akin kung paanong gawin.

Bangkang-papel. Eroplanong-papel. Bolang-papel. Sombrerong papel. Ibong-papel. Tipaklong na papel. Pati bayong na papel.
