About Plet Bolipata
"The Hummingbird" is Plet's first show since she returned from her art residency as a Freeman Fellow at the Vermont Studio Center in the United States.

Reflecting her uniquely whimsical and colorful style, the show centers on an oil and collage on linen artwork (3x4 feet), images from which were then used by Plet for five limited edition digital art pieces (edition size of 10 each), all of which will be used as illustrations for the short tale.

“The Hummingbird” and marks Plet's return to oil, as well as her initial foray into new media.

Plet currently resides in San Antonio, Zambales with husband-painter Elmer Borlongan.
